One more DLC and still no patch for the original game!!...

That works pretty much like having tried to implement one or several fixes, and deploying to see if it will help people. As for specific content, no. When any company releases stability fixes they do not necessarily make a list, as they may not be sure if said fix really fixes anything. But they have tried their best to find a solution to a problem and then deploying in the hopes it will do some good for some. This is not something exclusive to KA, several Steam games over the years have had these from their respective dev's. One day you come home from work and Steam says it's updated your game, but there are no patch-notes or word at any forums. |

The patch was released when the Saxon expansion became available. All Steam versions are updated, but because of some update problems the main menu still says it's v1.04, the releasenotes.txt still says v1.03, and the exe file still says version 1.0.0.1. So everybody's Steam version is updated, no matter what the game says. It fixed several bugs, and it fixed many technical problems that could have caused the battle crashes. But we need your feedback on this. So please post a feedback to support@kingarthurthewargame.com about the crashes. If the patch fixed the issues for you, please tell us it's OK, if not, please tell it as well, and we'll keep on working on it. At the moment there's no list of the fixes, once I'll have it I'll post it in the announcements. But it's kinda hard now, since we don't have any feedback yet about the technical fixes - and we don't want to say it's fixed if it's not. So please write to support. Thanks. |

Hi Kate, Thanks for this thread. This patch has been much expected, you should really post a message on this, even though you consider it a "beta version". Personally I've stopped playing your game 6 months ago and renounced to buy any extension until at least the battles crash issue is fixed. I will try again and send you a feed back. OK, then, I've been playing a couple of hours this morning to test the new "patch"... and the news are bad. 4 battles, 3 crashes to desk... worst than before (I used to have 1 crash every 4 to 5 battles). The difference is that the crashes happen during the game and not any more at the very end as before (during the end of battle loading screen)

Re: One more DLC and still no patch for the original game!!... Try running King Arthur and Steam as admin if you are using Windows 7. It solved all my crashes.
