 Difficulty Settings
It would be nice to have the difficulty settings actually represent what they are.
I am playing on easy and i am getting swarmed from two sides constantly. Armies of samhaim keep spawning. I have 4 knights and 3 armies but its almost impossible to get rid of negative effects in provinces/doing quests + fighting these constant armies.
My suggestion is that each of the spawn timers are increased significantly due per difficulty.
So Samhaim armies would only spawn every 20 turns on beginner, 15 for easy etc. Christian armies are the same.
When samhaim spawned i only had two armies (3 knights) and the saxons kept taking my land and i was totally overextended until i went off and got sir dagonet.
Also more knights need to available before going to book 2. (I am unsure if you can get other knights, i have only played through twice now (Lost the first time on medium).

 Re: Difficulty Settings
I have to agree with you on that one. I also wish the difficulty should, really, reflect better on these things. Playing on the easiest level should be like stealing candy from a kid.

 Re: Difficulty Settings
I sure love the game but I am tired of being humbled on the BEGINNER level. If something could be done with either quantity or quality of spawning armies in the easier levels it could widen interest. Or possibly the pacing of a couple events, something to be done for just a little better chance of completing all or most quests.

 Re: Difficulty Settings
Let's see, the enemy gets a great advantage at the start of every battle,2-3 victory locations taken before my cavalry hits the saddle. Endless spawning of experienced Heroes and armies. Provinces producing huge amounts of food and money (until you take them over then they turn to slums). They don't have to deal with rebellions and level 10 super spook armies. Their heroes don't have be given fiefdoms, and quite frankly I would love to give the enemy this horrible collection of wives I'm fighting and PAYING for, both in money and consequence. I'm surprised you developers forgot to give the gamers provinces "the plague", or is that coming?
